This little Japanese eatery in Footscray is quick, easy and delicious and a great way to introduce your kids to yummy Japanese cuisine.
It is located in the same building as Footscray Market giving you the perfect opportunity to pick up some fresh produce as well.
Sekai Japanese Ramen review
The restaurant is simple with not many tables, even less space and you can watch the staff prepare your food. There is table service and there is also some fake fish aquariums which keep our kids very entertained.
It is easy to access this eatery from both the street and Footscray Market. It is the perfect place to have a bite after doing some shopping at the Footscray Market or on the way home from Scienceworks.
The Food

One side of the menu
The food is simple, fresh and delicious. It also has the bonus of being very cheap with most meals under $10! The picture menu works very well to help young kids pick what they want to try. Ensure you check if something is spicy before ordering though if this could be an issue.
The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are prepared fast to order. There are good vegetarian options and I imagine people with a food intolerance will find something they can eat.

The kids love trying out the chopsticks
For Families
This restaurant works well with kids because it is just so quick! There are many Japanese dishes on offer many of which are simple and perfect for simple tastes and for kids who don’t want to get too adventurous yet.
There are high chairs and there are also tables that spill into the shopping centre meaning you could stick a pram at a table as well.
